| x Pirate_Princess x Tue 3/18/2008 11:02p | So I bought the DVD today!
Alex had not yet seen it, as we never got around to seeing it.
I still have not seen it. That's for Friday's Family Movie Night (Hockey was on tonight).
BUT, I did download the soundtrack from iTunes...and WOW, Alan Menkin is a genius! And, being the huge fan of the animated features (and owning almost all of the soundtracks) I hear a LOT of bits and pieces from other movies.
Can't wait to see the movie!! |

And you can only get the song Ever Ever After and "Storybook Ending" if you purchase the whole album from iTunes.
Now I have a whole new set of songs for my studying playlist!!! |

| x Pirate_Princess x Tue 3/18/2008 11:15p | Awesome!! :) I'll have to show the girls.
I just love Carrie Underwood. I admit, I was a bit miffed when she won AI, but she's just been awesome as a country star. All her songs have hit #1,and I just wish they'd play this one on the radio!!! |

| plpeters70 Wed 3/19/2008 7:22a | Yeah, does anyone know why the song wasn't included on the DVD? I was really looking forward to hearing it.
Also, did anyone else notice that the preview for the upcoming Sleeping Beauty DVD didn't use any of the films actual music OR dialogue? They actually had sound-alikes redub the dialogue for the preview - why wouldn't they just use actual clips from the movie? Doesn't Disney own the rights to use their own movie score and dialogue on a preview for one of their own DVDs?? This isn't the first time I've seen them do this either. Why would they do this?

Oh, gosh, I thought I was going crazy! I haven't seen the new SB trailer yet, but I've noticed this on other trailers, especially the last release of Peter Pan. The voices are ingrained in my head from having listened to the movies too many times, so it was really jarring to hear them sounding different on the trailer. I don't understand why they do that, either. |

Yeah, I was hoping for that too. It didn't even make it to the Blu-ray version, what's up with that? |

| greenbean Wed 3/19/2008 11:10a | For the parents out there I just saw an Age-by-Age Guide to the film on ParentsConnect: http://www.parentsconnect.com/ NickJrNav/index.html
I actually saw this in theaters and thought it was extremely cute and funny and the little boys behind me seemed to love it!
Flicks for Kids recommends the film because it: Empowers young viewers, strong female role model, and Encourages imagination. I agree with all of those points! Plus Amy Adams was so adorable in the movie!

You guys won't believe it, but I was actually thinking about this this morning. I had Peter Pan playing in the background, and I was thinking about the previews--for some reason that random guy dubbed "We've got him this time!" for the trailer. Was that what you were talking about, jasmine7?
I'd really love to know why they do this, too. |
