Great pictures.

Also, please note the logo very clearly says "Toy Story MIDWAY MANIA."

Looks like another much maligned prognosticator is right yet again.

Thanks, really exciting, sounds like a fun ride and a great way to start the DCA makeover. The more I see this ride the more I want to ride it. The Boo Peep game with the "water balloons" sounds and the Finale like fun and Mr. Potato Head looks really cool! One question: will the ride indpendently spin between games/scenes, and will there be physical sets during this part of the ride?

On a side note I'm glad they decided to keep "Midway" in the name.

Crap, lots of grammar errors in my post.

The Bo Peep game and the Finale scene sound like fun.

indpendently = independently

Sorry, and thanks for the great update.

Wow...how many times can you say "magical" in 3 minutes? That was pretty amazing. I'm not sure if I am willing to buy the whole backstory of Andy getting the Midway Mania playset for his birthday and now he's gone thing, but it looks like it will be a fun attraction. The story just seems way too forced, and I would almost rather have the characters just thrown in there randomly than have such a clearly BS-ed backstory forced on us. I also like how they kept trying to beat around the bush to explain how exactly the shooters work, not ever really saying that they were all projections on a screen.

"will the ride indpendently spin between games/scenes, and will there be physical sets during this part of the ride?"

They will spin however they want to. I don't know if they will be programmed to have the same spin pattern or not, but they could spin in different directions, or even switch directions, if they wanted to. Although they travel in pairs, there isn't much interaction between the two. There will be physical sets (like vending carts and stuff as described in the video), but they won't be anything too fancy. From the various pictures I've seen online, I would expect something a step up from Mr Toad, but maybe not quite to the level of Alice, but the spinning should more than conceal the fact that the sets aren't detailed to the 9's.

Overall, I really like what I'm seeing (with the exception of the awful Andy storyline), and it looks promising. For some reaon, I was really impressed and blown away by the general look of the site, especially in this picture:

Thanks Ferret, sounds like it will be a rather disorienting ride with the combined spinning and 3-D affects, hopefully not too many people will get sick.

I for one welcome the backstory. Outside of Grizzly, not one thing at DCA had a backstory, frontstory, or any other reason to be other than it was some sort of ride or attraction plunked down into the wretched little park. And most of them didn't even have any themed queues, either. This is a tremendous improvement. And it even has real ceilings!
