Does anyone know what became of Disneyland's Miss Tencennial Julie Reihm? I can not find any info and am curious. Any info would be great! =0)

She's in Virginia now. She lives there with her husband. She was back at the Resort for the dinner to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Ambassador Program in 2005. Generally she does not attend the Ambassador ceremonies year to year but she says that her absence is a product of distance. She looks beautiful and her voice sounds exactly the same as it does on the Disneyland video where, during her introduction by Walt, she greets the camera with a demure "How do you do?"

I have a picture of Julie and me from the Disneyland dinner.

I feel compelled, for the sake of my own vanity, to add that I had recently had a baby when this picture was taken. Thanks for understanding. :)

Unfortunately I am unable to attend the Tour Guide Reunion on the 12th. I got Yumi's e-mail and was really excited about it but it's just not possible this year. I am living in San Antonio, TX, right now and I'm going to be in CA the weekend of the 5th and 6th for my nephew's birthday so I couldn't justify two California trips inside of two weeks! My former University Leader, Craig Enberg, and my Big Brother from my first tour, Guy Hinrichs will both be there. At least they had planned to go when I spoke with them a month or so ago. If you see them please let them know I said hello! I am hoping to attend the next Tour Guide reunion. It sounds like it will be loads of fun. I am partial to the Garden Room and it's a lovely venue for a get-together! Have a fantastic time!

P.S. I forgot to say thank you for the compliment. I think I look pretty tired in that picture, but then don't all parents of infants?? :) It's a good memory of a fleeting time in my life...

I know Craig, he was my manager and Guy does special events at Chapman where I attend. I will definitely say Hi for you if I bump into them. I feel like I have met you before, were you at the last reunion during the 50th? I am disappointed you won't be there this year, but I will look to see you at the next reunion! =0) I am glad they are utilizing the garden room again also, it is somewhat remote and quiet and the water makes a great backdrop for pictures. =0)

Craig and I were both managers at the Main Entrance together from 1995 until 1998 when I left the Resort. He's so great! Guy is loving his job at Chapman. It's a perfect fit for him! Have a great time!

Speaking of ambassadors, I've been away from the park for 14 years now, and I'm curious if there has been a male ambassador since I termed. During the ten years I worked at the park, there would be some guys in the mix, but they were never chosen.
