I can appreciate your effort in trying to provide a pin trading web site for people to use.

I did notice you have yet to receive much of any feedback, so I wanted to take some time to give you just a little of my opinions.

I have been collecting pins for over 8 years, and have a lot experience and of knowledge about the hobby. It is my opinon that your trading website does fall short of other online Disney pin trading web sites that have been established for as long as I have been in the hobby.

You have a significant challenge ahead of you to play "catch up". An eight year head start is quite significant.

The already established pin trading websites have extensive pin databases w/pictures. Currently there are over 47,000 Disney pins catalogued there in the database. If you include non-Disney pins such as Olympic pins and others, there are over 60,000 pins included in their database.

Other services provided there are inventory capabilities for one's personal collection. Also, there is a "trade assistant" that helps members to make trades based on their "wants" and "needs" lists. This is done through computer programs that seach the member's "wants" and "needs" lists and paris traders up via email. All of these services are "free of charge" so the site is quite popular.

Another Disney pin trading web site has trade boards set up. This web site has been around as long as the previously mentioned site. I can't remember, but I believe that it has over 10,000 registered members. It along with it's sister Disney pin news website are the most popular Disney pin web sites on the internet.

Like mentioned above, it will be very difficult to draw any attention to your new web site unless you provide something unique or better than these well established existing sites.

I am not here to endorse those sites, and as you noticed, I have not even mentioned there names or provided links. I don't think it would be respectful to do so in the same discussion where you are trying to promote your site.

If you want to, you should go look at the sites I described to get a idea what they do well, and where maybe your site could provide some improvement.

Good luck.
