A lot of WDW haters on the boards. A shame since its an incredible resort.

You do realize 95% of the board does not live anywhere near WDW so unless you time it right when people visit itd be a very small meet...

If you also suggested a date or time you might get the few of us who live here more interested...

Just a thought...

I live on the West Coast and don't get to visit WDW as much as DL. So it is a luxury. Have you decided on a time or place. I will be traveling to Orlando in the next week and visiting WDW twice brfore and after my cruise. If you are still intersted let me know and maybe we can work something out. :) We don't hate WDW truly we don't.

I think hate is a strong word. I just simply think the MK is a much lesser offering than DLP and DL, and yet there are 1000's if not millions of people who think WDW's is the best because they do not know the rest. Also, I do not like the management, buses, weather, or how spread out it is. But Epcot and DAK are AMAZING.

Hey..i was just refering to the dearth of wdw meets on the boards. There are a few but not many so i thought i would ask if there was any interest in one.No dates planned yet.I am in Florida and can make it to Disney just about any weekend.Did not mean to sound so harsh lol.

BB - I think the main reason there are few meets is that there are relatively fewer Floridians (and indeed East Coasters) compared to West Coasters and International posters on this board.

So when we went to DL a couple of weeks ago, we had loads of people at the meet, but many lived within a 2-3 hour drive, longest drivers were 6 hours away. WDW has about 9 people I know of within that same range.

Yes, this is mainly a left coast board, plus DL just has a more local audience. WDW is largely out-of-town visitors, that's my understanding anyway, so there just aren't that many opportunities for get-togethers. People make vacation plans based on lots of things other than LP Meets <gasp!> :-D

I have no immediate plans to visit WDW, but I'll be sure to post when I do. I had a meet there about 6 years ago! It was small but fun... I even got to meet the infamous TDLFAN! :-D

Also, with DLR being reletively compact meets easier.
One of these days I'd LOVE to go to a WDW meet.

I'm a DLR local, but plan my special vacations for The World.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
