The Tokyo Disney Resort Website has updated its 25th Anniversary website. http://www.resort25.jp/

The site is in Japanese but does show of a lot of cool art and pictures featuring the merchadise and Resort decorations. It also includes on the front page a small sample of the new 25th Anniversary song. Worth checking out.

But I will say that I don't think much of the decorations around the castle which look very poor, especially after the great job DLRP has done for its own 15th Anniversary, with the 15 candles.

Let us know what you think!

Interesting. The parade concept Art looks 65% the same as DLP's 15th birthday parade, which is very similar to Dl's 50th!

Also noticed they are doing the cool photo mosaic thing again.

As for the castle, I'll wait to pass judgement until I see the photos. It could have ben worse (shudders at the memory of Birthday Cakes and Jester Hats).

Some of the merchandise looks great. When I was at the Disneyana Fan Festival in February, they had samples of the two park minatures which are amazing. Each one has the entire park in minute detail. They cost a small fortune (100,000, or about $1,000 each), but are something I'm definitely going to pick up. You can see them on one of the merchandise pages.

That sounds AWESOME and is something I would DEFINITELY want to buy! I avoid the el cheapo Mickey crap like the plague and have ALWAYS said give me ONE classy, long-lasting souvenir over the boundless plastic rubbish.

Could you provide a link please?

SO pretty!

It looks like sections of the TDL model light up too.

They both light up in the exact same places the real attractions and park light up. The models on display were hypnotic, but most of the other people (all Japanese) seemed to stagger slightly when looking at the price. As the only Westerner there, my first question was, "Can I buy them NOW?" :)

I'm not saying the Castle is going to be as bad as that ugly looking cake contraption that both DLRP and WDW castles have had before. But I do think compare to some of the recent castle Anniversary makeovers this one looks weak. TDL has a habit of only decorating the lower part of its castle anyway, so that in itself looks like half a job done.

I too love the park minitures, but for me bringing them home would be a bit hard. That Mickey plush also looks like a must for my collection, and I think the watch looks kind of neat. By the way Jubilation will also have a CD release.
