FYI, I have been to plenty of the Karl Strauss Breweries in the SoCal area, and they all have Full Bars. So no worries if they build a "in-park" location at DCA, fresh brewed beer, or a cocktail, whatever you prefer will be available.

"Al Lutz's "rumors" have turned out to be true almost a hundred percent of the time."

This is not even close to being true.

"Al Lutz's "rumors" have turned out to be true almost a hundred percent of the time."<<

Al Lutz has a dreadful track record, I can name 2 dozen things Al has said that turned out not to be true. But what is so great or not so great about him is the fact that he words his "rumors" in a way that they are so generic, they could or could not come true depending on how you look at it.

ORDDU: Of course some of you forget that Mr. Lutz always qualifies his reports as 'rumors' and does not guarantee that the things he has to say are going to take place, since Disney Management is always changing its collective mind. He reports what he has heard--as do so many others. Whether or not these reports come true or not is dependent on the final decisions made at the Walt Disney Company. Everyone reading such reports should keep this in mind so they don't end up over-reacting when things don't turn out exactly as they were originally reported. After all, Disney web-footed sites have a high percentage level of mere speculation.

Yeah, I never understand why people have a hard time understanding what RUMORS mean, they are just that. The guy doesn't work for Disney, he has sources inside the place. Sometimes they are right, sometimes they are wrong, but overall he has a pretty good track record and even if he's wrong, so what? It's nice to see possible things going on or at the very least see what Disney is thinking about doing, even if it doesn't play out. Lutz doesn't work for the New York Times, its a Disney Geek website that focuses on rumors and information about the park, why what he prints such a big deal to others?

Thanks Bean, part of the allure for the Cove Bar is obviously the location. Nothing beats spending a few hours over a few cocktails, some lobster nachos, and having a terrific view.

I'm a bit worried as to what's going to happen when the "lagoon" show is up and running, I hope they don't turn it into an exclusive viewing area for an additional large fee.

Darkbeer- good to know about the Beer Garden. At least there's a good fallback if the Cove Bar is overrun with families trying to get good viewing spots for the lagoon show.

It's fine that he reports rumors, but for goodness sake, he's not even close to being 100% accurate.

The only thing I would say, though is that how he reports things is as if they were absolutely true, and that only because Disney management changed their minds did something not come out as he said.

That's pushing it quite a bit. Sometimes, oftentimes, what he says is simply incorrect.

The design and layout of the beer garden might not make it the ideal place to sit and watch the new WOC show.

I am sure though that the bottom level of Ariels grotto restuarant will most likely offer priority seating.

Hopefully the Cove bar also makes it a necesity for people to be ordering if using the seating. This would stop people from taking over the bar just for viewing

ORDDU: jonvn, you're becoming such a dear heart. My sisters and I love the way you express yourself these days and it's very nice to be able to discuss things with you even when we disagree. We don't interpret Mr. Lutz the same way you do but you certainly have every right to express your own belief of him.

ORWEN: I was just thinking that, since Disney Management is so secretive of everything these past few years, if we weren't allowed to speculate on what MIGHT happen or what COULD have happened, the Laughing Place Pond wouldn't be nearly so much fun to splash around in!

"jonvn, you're becoming such a dear heart"

I'm trying very hard to stop having factional infighting amongst groups of fans. It's stupid. We should all be friends if we can, we all like the same things, we shouldn't have to be angry with each other.

With some people, it's not going to be possible, but I would like as my goal for everyone who has been so angry and hostile to each other for whatever reason and for so long to put down the bludgeon and understand we all have the same interests and all have our little issues over things and to just forgive and forget and let it go.

This doesn't mean I'm not going to be snarky sometimes, because that's sort of my personality. But I don't want to be viewed as a bad person, and I don't want to view anyone else as a bad person either. We're not curing cancer. We're not fighting terrorists or being terrorists. It's a fun subject matter. We should all strive for friendliness and commonality.
