Well, I'm all for leaving it at that.

Anyway, how 'bout that Little Mermaid!

This topic is about the Little Mermaid ride not the masons. Please take your nonsense discussion to elsewhere on the internet.

<You have clearly NOT done the research if you're referring to texts by Washington, et al. The texts from the mid NINETEENTH century, as I said, not mid-EIGHTEENTH century, while including some typical Christian references, and mentioning "God" - do indeed explain that the ultimate deity is named "Lucifer".>

So they didn't worship Lucifer in the mid-18th century, did in the mid-19th century, and went back to not in the mid 20th century? Sorry I don't buy it. Sounds like someone misunderstood something Albert Pike said, and is now using it to smear the Masons.

<And it should also be known there's a TON of stuff that Masons and other secret societies are not permitted to utter/reveal in public, as sharing those things with non-members is punishable (at least according to the texts) in some of the most severe ways one could imagine. Akin to the types of things one would expect from radical terrorist groups today.>

This is more nonsense.

ORDDU: I must say, BlueOhannaTerror, duckling, you've done your homework well. While some would choose to ignore the facts about the history of secret societies and how they have either changed or NOT changed over time, it's certainly a topic worth being aware of because the future of every single soul on Earth depends on finding out this truth for him or herself. It's good to see you have taken hold of this most challenging mission. There are so many out there who have no idea just how important it is to dig more deeply in an effort to expose the truth about all these various Secret Societies--many of whom are the REAL culprits behind all the troubles the world is currently having. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, Witches. I do know a good bit about these secret societies. At least what's written in their tomes, which obviously many of their own members do not.

I'm on a shoot right now, so it's tough for me to reply in detail... but if I get some time, I'll do so. Probably in World Events, because Skellington is correct... this is not the thread for it.

But it's very easy to call something "nonsense" when you don't know your facts. Much easier to do that.

I guess it's a lot better than getting your tongue cut out, for instance. ;)

That's not what I posted. What is written in their mid-19th century texts, refers to "Lucifer" and defines him as the ultimate deity to offer obesiance. What came before or after has little consequence - it's not what I was writing about. That's what YOU were writing about. And what's written is clearly not always what people DO.

There's an awful lot of commandments in the Old Testament. Very few people observe all but a handful today, and in fact, very few but a handful have been observed, even in antiquity.

You can repeat this accusation as often as you like, but it's still nonsense.

ORDDU: One person's 'nonsense' is another person's key to better understanding. BlueOhannaTerror is onto some very enlightening information, here, duckling. You'd best go back and study history a bit more carefully before condemning his findings.

He's just repeating accusations. He can't tell us who the persons are that supposedly revealed this "history" or in which "tomes" they did it in. There's nothing enlightening about lies.

>> And since when is DCA "a park about how things are made"? I thought it was about California? <<

Just so such questions and comments no longer keep cropping up -- and forcing DCA into a narrow box -- I wish the DisCo would hurry up and finally remove both the theme and name of "California Adventure."
