I would be nice if the topic went back to the mermaid attraction.

Ok, why do we have to have so many character laden attractions in the parks???

Is that better?

If the attraction is anything like what they describe it, I don't think many people will mind this character attraction at all.

But we could have had a big budget one showing the history of California. Or maybe a journey through Monterey Bay. How about a Barbary coast adventure, or the discovery of gold. There are so many awesome things they could do with the budget. But instead we get another character infused attraction of an overrated movie. No thank you.

I hope The Little Mermaid ride is long. At least the length of Haunted Mansion.

I'm certain the attraction will be spectacular. But it should be in Fantasyland.

Speaking of things in the resort development plan that may or may not be happening, what about the bakery that Al talked about a while back? It was supposed to go in the cast parking lot just north of the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. I haven't heard anything about it either way, but I think he said the plans were to have it up and running in 2009, which would make me think they might want to get moving on it...

What about an attraction taking us into the history of secret cults in California?

We could have a scene like in "Young Sherlock Holmes" where a young virgin AA is tied down and sacrificed while black robed AA figures stand around chanting.

The participants of this thread could model for the Imagineers for these figures while one of the witches(the really fat one)could stand in for the vestal virgin.
