I just got here. Man, what a journey. It's dark so I can't see everything yet, but there's definitely some construction going on! |

That is an understatement. I can't remember the exact stat but something like 50% of all of the largest cranes in the world are currently in Dubai. |

Looks like thunder, lightening, and typhoon force winds. |

| Roger55 Fri 4/11/2008 8:35a | I arrived in country last night. Weather is forcasted to be cloudy Tuesday. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the rain gods decide to finally leave TDL alone on it's special day. |

| The Goddess Mara Fri 4/11/2008 5:13p | It's springtime, it's going to rain. Be prepared and keep smiling. I've never seen a Disney less affected by miserable weather than Tokyo Disneyland. It was freezing when I was there in February, in the 30s with a bitter cold wind off the bay. THE PLACE WAS PACKED! |

I hope someone from the group will keep us updated on the activities. I'm sure for many of our members it is going to be the trip of a lifetime. Many thanks to the people involved in the planning, you did an amazing job working with the TDL folks. |

| Mickeyfan1 Fri 4/11/2008 7:59p | Let me also add to the NFFC comments. For the past two years I have done my best to keep information posted about the annual California Convention held in July by posting updates within the NFFC Discussion Board. I am amazed at several of the comments within this thread. LP has supported many NFFC events and many NFFC members who are also active within LP also support LP events.
As for attitudes I find the easiest thing to do in many cases when I have been at some LP events is to simply go up to people and introduce myself. I always find the annual "Doobie Awards" to be a lot of fun, although I must admit I am a little lost at times not being that actively involved in a lot of the discussions, but I always find it wonderful how everyone on the boards really has a lot of fun in spite of many of the negative comments posted about others comments and at times directed at individuals and organizations specifically.
Remember folks, Disney is supposed to be fun, and while we all are intitled to our own opinions we should respect and make constructive comments if you feel, but never negative comments about people or organizations.
I'm sure I will have opened a huge bag of worms here, but I simply do all of this for the fun of things Disney.
Now, let the attacks begin.....JUST KIDDING! |

I arrived in country today, and spent a bit of time at Disneyland. Boy did it suck! There was like nothing to do. Hey, wait a minute, I think I'm in the wrong country! A four-hour repositioning flight tomorrow should fix the problem. |
