Some other LP-ers are around too - but I know most of them are on the NFFC packages with lunch/dinner etc. that they are arranged. Not my thing to plan like that so opted out. Plus not an NFFC member. :-) |

No - although I have no idea what you look like so don't take it personally if I do! I don't think we have ever actually met - have we?
There are certain people I do deliberately avoid if I can possibly help it - although usually because my memory is appalling. No guesses who.... |

SuperDry, teppanyaki at the Brighton sounds good. If you guys plan anything for the evening of the 14th, I'm game. I'll be staying near Maihama that night.
Mr X, will you be our host that night since it's in your neighborhood? Hehehe. -- MagicalNezumi |

| Mr X Sun 3/30/2008 7:44a | lol...well, then I suppose you think more kindly of me than I imagined.
No, we've never met as far as I know. Though I used to work entertainment in the 2 parks for many years in many different gigs so it's entirely possible that we HAVE met without knowing it.
Anywho, if I am around I'd probably be hanging with SuperDry (since this whole event is starting to sound more and more exciting, I'm actually thinking about showing up if possible)...so if you know him we can say "hi" to each other. I promise here and now that I won't hold any LP conversation against ya. :p (hopefully you'll feel the same way)
If I am in the park that day or that week, it'll probably be with my little girl. I'm on babysitting duty these next couple of weeks, as my wife is busy with other stuff.

| SuperDry Sun 3/30/2008 7:46a | I pretty much ignore all the NFFC stuff myself, so I don't even know who the LPers would be that are going. I didn't even know there was such a trip until yesterday when you mentioned it - it seems a bit strange that none of them would have posted in the Tokyo section of LP about the trip. |

| SuperDry Sun 3/30/2008 7:49a | Anyone have predictions on attendance for the 15th? I'm a bit surprised that none of the hotels seem to be booked out for that night or any day that week, so I'm taking that as a good omen and hoping that it won't be mobbed. |

Now let me check that lotto6 number real quick...
er...
Sorry, no. :p |

I was surprised by that - I think the Hilton is booked out on the night of the 15th only and the Sheraton still has a lot of space. Maybe because it is a Tuesday?
I'm hopeful it won't be packed - there isn't much reason why it should be to be honest. I suspect the following weekend will be manic though. |

I don't think badly of anyone unless they give me good reason. A few terse words or difference of opinion on a message board aren't enough.
Only thing I can never take is ego. I don't see you as having an oversized ego. |

Ditto - some of them have an attitude I don't like. I remember seeing the folks that were on the sanctioned Disney trip for the 20th with their high and mighty "look at me" attitude. Hate it. However there are some great people on the trip - including our local correspondents Tetsuya and Yukari.
I think all they got from WDAJ was a lunch at Magellans and Club 33 - they pushed for other freebies but couldn't get them as far as I know. |
