There is another angle to this (which my ego demands I mention):

Doobie has graciously given me a forum here, and my favorite topic to write about is NFFC activities. So if you want to know what the NFFC is really like, why don't you read some of my past columns?

And BTW, about why I'm just showing up now:

- This trip to Tokyo will literally be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. With everything else going on in my life, I'm not going to regularly participate in a board that talks about a resort that I normally would never visit.

- If I'm going to engage in the rough-&-tumble of these discussion boards, I'm not going to do it under my real name!

Which columns?

I'd be interested in checking them out.

As far as "rough&tumble", lol. That is a good point (not so much in the Tokyo section, I'd say).

I've the sneaking suspicion that might mean we know you, Mr. Welbaum, under another name? :p

I didn't mention it before for fear of sounding patronizing, but they're now under "Disney News" - "Columns". I don't write under any specific deadline -- just whenever I can think of something interesting.

SD - I guess you will be traveling soon but thought that as I finally got out of Paris this morning I'd post before my week runs away from me!

I'll be at our usual hotel from Friday for a little over a week. The 14th is an important night for me so I don't think I will be able to plan for anything then. However the days after the anniversary should be fine. My schedule is still very much up in the air and is dependent on others. I know it all sounds very cryptic but at least you know how to get hold of me and vice versa.

Enjoy my least favorite city on earth - I can't wait to hear what you say about it!

Oh come on.

Even after midnight?

I don't buy that for a second! ;)

See ya at planethollywood, unless you're some kind of wuss! :)

I don't think I've been inside a ph since '94 when they were actually kinda cool and I'm not about to break that tradition. Plus it would involve being inside Ikspiari which I'd prefer not to enter if I can help it.

No worry - Tokyo is third on my favourites list. Below Hong Kong and NYC.

Well, we might have to re-locate to your hotel's bar then.

I can see that. Although if HK is first on your list, I'd personally reverse it. Noplace beats NYC imho.

<==rolls eyes.

I'm surprised you don't at least like dining in Ikspiari, they've got some of the best restaurants in Chiba including K'ua Aina, that Chinese place near the theaters which is to die for, Monsoon Cafe, and some really awesome high end places as well.
