Sat 4/5/2008 5:21p | The 6th may be tough for me, some rassin' frassin' so-and-so stole the tailgate off my truck and I'm reluctant to drive all that way until I get a replacement. If my Dad will let me borrow his car I may still be able to make it.
Do you have a meeting time/place in mind? I'd sure like to hook up for a couple of rides or a meal if I'm able.

Sun 4/6/2008 10:46a | OK, it's looking like the 20th. I have to be here at 4:00 to wait for the cable guy today. I told the kid on the phone the cable modem was dying but the kid wouldn't move off the script even when faced with a customer that knew more than him so he's sending out a tech instead of just sending us a replacement. The modem is 7 or 8 years old and has been sitting in a hot, dusty attic for most of it and needs a reboot 3 or more times a week (twice yesterday), it's time for a new one! Maybe I should save the rant for the "Whiney butt" thread and move on, lol.
I'm sorry I will miss seeing the lovely and talented Mr Good Vibes. :-( Hopefully someone can make it on the 20th, if not... heck I'll be in Disneyland and that don't suck. |

Kyle and I are going on Monday, but I don't think I'm going to try and hook up with anyone. We haven't had a mother/son trip since early November. |
