DC Comics was named for its most popular early title, Detective Comics.

When Oregon became a state, a name was needed for the area to its north. Columbia was proposed, as a patriotic reference and as a reference to the main river in the area. However, there was concern that Columbia would be confused with our nation's capital, the District of Columbia. So the name of Washington was chosen. Yes, that's right, the state of Washington was named to AVOID confusion with the name of our nation's capital.

Michael myers in Halloween was played by the brother of Joanie from happy days during the scene when the mask is pulled off.There were 2 other actors/stuntmen portraying michael throughout the film

English was the first language worldwide to have more people speak it as a second language than as their native tongue (I don't know if there is another yet).
