No some TGs simply chose to blow their brains out or hang themselves with the vacume cleaner cord, like my Jr. high school band director did. When they found the note, it became quite the hardy-har around school. |

It's necessary for some and not for others. And it's not up to you or me to judge for whom it is or is not necessary. And dshyates, I'm really sorry about your jr. high band director. That's a horrible story. :( |

Sure it is......
That doesn't sound fair at all. RC is entitled to his opinion and he is welcome to judge just as you are welcome to make judgements and hold opinions.

It was a long time ago. I have known 3 people that took their lives because of this or similar issues. (1 TG, 2 just gay) but it really tweeks me when I see the religion driven bigotry against helpless confused young people. Usually perpetrated by full grown people with simple little minds. Now these particular folks (the pregnant guy and his wife) sort of asked to be ridiculed by going on Oprah, but if they don't care, as I am sure they knew the reaction they would get, then their choice. I don't have any problem with this couple bringing a child into this world. Yeah, the kid may blown their brains out in the late teen years or flame out on drugs because they grew up in such a messed up house. But maybe they will grow up to be president or a great philosopher because of aforementioned "non-traditional" household. We will have to wait and see. And it is presumptuous to opine about it. |

Us gay guys in our 40s just tell them where to get off. Its the realization that you will never realize your lifes goals that takes the 40 year olds to the brink. |
