***I can understand that someone is attracted to someone of the same sex. Fine. (No, I'm not equating that with transgenderism, even though they often lobby together.)***

What's the meaning of this sentence?

I get the impression you are trying to imply that homosexuality is okay, but that there is something "wrong" with people of trans gendered experience, so much so that homosexuals shouldn't associate with them.

everyone has thier OWN PERSONAL opinion. Doesn't make them wrong or hateful. Depends on how you are raised, (morals, etc...)

Mr. X, you sound a bit on the attack. Not everyone has to accept differences, ya know. It is all a personal choice. I personally do not agree with the whole "transgender" thing. MY OPINION. Doesn't make me mean OR hateful. Just makes me a person who believes differently than another.
That is the beauty of this wonderful country.... we can agree to DISagree.
I, for one, have had enough of the "politically correct" stance.... and then the labeling of "hateful" or "mean" if someone does not agree.
Everyone is different. I (and everyone else) have the right to accept something or shun it, depending on my beliefs.

Of course it does. It makes you a bigot.

Turn it around and say you don't agree with the whole "black" thing, and see how far it gets you.

And you still haven't answered my question (the question applies to all the haters, not just Rollins), how do you explain what a hermaphrodite goes through if a person of transsexual experience must have "something wrong in their brain"?

Think about it.

Dave already mentioned knowing someone who was born with different plumbing in comparison to genes.

How is THAT person supposed to figure out who they are? Gee, maybe they'll just have to examine how they feel about things. What a shocker.

I also know a person who was born with one testicle, and an undescended mass that the doctors said might have been an ovary. That person is also transgendered, so who are you to say that person "should" be a man, or a woman?

Or, if you want to make the argument that "black" isn't a choice or whatever, try saying "I don't agree with the fat thing", and think about whether or not that makes you sound mean or hateful.

nice attitude, Mr. X.

Thanks for calling me a bigot, too. For your information, my best friend of 29 years and her family are BLACK. I have no problem with black people, or ANY people for that matter. As I stated before, I just do not agree with the transgender thing. Doesn't make me hateful.
But, YOU calling me a bigot and bringing in race to the conversation DOES make YOU HATEFUL. HATEFUL TO THE CORE.
Keep your nasty name calling to yourself. I said NOTHING mean or hateful like you did.
Maybe you should read the "community standards" concerning NAME CALLING.
Nice to see you have lived up to your bad reputation here on LP.
People warned me. They were right.

No need to shout.

And I'm hateful? This is true, if by that you mean I hate prejudiced people. That's very true, TO THE CORE.

And you've already indicated your lack of tolerance, own it. No need to start shouting from the rooftops "Some of my Best Friends are black" or whatever.

Also, you didn't answer my question.

Can you?

I answered it just fine. If you need to, re-read post 62. It was clear to me.
And YOU are the one who brought in race here, not me.

You know NOTHING about me. To say I am a bigot or prejudiced is an unfair accusation on your part.
I owe you nothing more than that.
OH. AND I WILL SHOUT IF I WANT TO.
WHEN CALLED A NASTY NAME, I WILL SHOUT. If you don't like it, TOUGH.

You didn't answer the question about hermaphrodites.

That's what I was referring to.

It's not that I dislike "shouting", by the way, it just makes you sound like you're ranting and raving.

If that's how you like to come across, by all means go for it.

***To say I am a bigot or prejudiced is an unfair accusation on your part.***

Hardly unfair, you made statements throughout this thread that make your prejudiced views on the matter crystal clear.

And now you're angry because someone dared to point it out.

Typical.

***And YOU are the one who brought in race here, not me.***

Yes, I did.

People often miss the incredible similarities between racism and homophobia (like yourself, for example) until it is pointed out.

And I also brought up the overweight issue. It's all the same stuff.

You just chose to ignore that by getting mad. That's very convenient for you, but you still haven't answered the question.
