The Witch in The Great Movie Ride is good. Still, I think Mr. Potato is more convincing. Maybe 'cause he's a toy?

Here's a video of the Witch:

Now compare that to this:

Thanks for the YouTube movies, Hans. Cool to make the comparison.

Still, pound for pount, vegetable for vegetable, I'll always find that the human AA figures are more fascinating than toys, bugs, bears, or potatos.

But, Mr. Potato Head still moves more fluid, toy or not...

Just imagine when they do use what they learned building Mr. Potato Head on a human AI....The skies the limit...

I guess for me the potato is a better "actor" than the witch.

I LOVE the potato. Can't wait to see it in person.

The potato definately seems a lot more cartoony in his movements. They're pretty exagerated and just generally don't look like anything a human would do. The witch seems like her actions are firmly rooted in how I would personally do the same movements. For me, it's a lot harder to capture something subtle that we all see in real life all the time, than it is to capture one person's vision of how something would move.

And his mouth really creeps me out too! It seems too wide, and it never quite closes properly...

The more I see of PH, the more I am falling for him. Hmmmmm, I wonder if the Baloos could muster a Christmas trip to DL?

davewasbaloo, the WilliamK99 family is going to be there from the 9th to the 18th, would love to get together with a fellow European dwelling family while we are there.

That would be cool William, but if we did go this year, it would probably be during the christmas dates themselves. But it would be great to hook up, even if while in Europe.
