Wow all I can say is that Disneyland Resort Paris did an amazing job with that event I loved the creepy Studios 1, and it gave the place a completely differnt vibe. Would make a great Halloween event!

Mickey & Minnie looked great in 1930 costumes and I think DLRP should find a location for the two to do pictures and autographs with guest along Hollywood blv.

After seeing the actors walking around the sets of Hollywood blv and and the 1930's cars, I think these little details should remain, as it really adds atsmophere to the area.

And than we come to the actual show with some stunning proctions and pyro efects. Rumour was Disney was going to do a fireworks test soon to see if it would work for New Years Eve or not. I think after seeing the explosion at the end it could very well work out, and if WDS ever did a full time fireworks display the Tower of Terror would make a fantastic backdrop.

I have to say that was quite an impressive opening event.

But at the risk of sounding negative, the whole thing begs the question: what did all this cost?? And if Disney can spend all that money to put on such an impressive show for one night only, then why doesn't this park have similar entertainment every day?? Their priorities seem a little out-of-whack to me.

I'd imagine that TWDC paid for the event. I get the feeling that they are looking after the promotional side of the resort these days as it would cost them peanuts but help the future of the resort. Whatever the arrangement, seems to be working wonders!

I'd imagine the display was also designed so it can be used again... special evenings at least. Only needs a few modifications. Strangely, if it did turn into a nighttime entertainment show, it's similar to a "Terror at Twilight" show plan I came up with years ago hehe.

If you're curious, here's some of the press footage of the event and also the attraction inside: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...FEYNWy44
