| Ursula Sun 4/6/2008 7:57p | Oh, please! Doobie knows me by now to know I hate change! BLECH, BLECH, BLECH. It's like putting salt on a snail to me.
(of course in two weeks I'll not even remember how it used to look like!)

| threeundertwo Sun 4/6/2008 8:34p | I've gone from seeing it on a full screen to having annoying gray bands on either side. I'm a bit new to Vista - is there something I need to do to get it full screen again? |

| gottaluvdavillains Sun 4/6/2008 8:38p | I have the grey bands also - I do not have Vista - I don't have the LP picture anymore... I do like the stuff to the right - It seems more natural with my track ball (no mice here). |

| SoThisIsLove Sun 4/6/2008 8:51p | That was funny... :) Hey, I've got the gray bands...I don't mind the change, and hey, change is good. Right, Marty?
You get down with your bad Doobie self...I like it! |

| threeundertwo Sun 4/6/2008 9:07p | The "discussion boards" link isn't on every page at the top. I'd rather it be there than have to go back to the home page to find it. (The home page is looking pretty busy too, but I can live with it). |

| tiggerdis_ Sun 4/6/2008 9:12p | ooh Liberty Belle - think about it. If the PAGE looks smaller, then so will our butts! Oh, the glory of it all! |

| JeffG Sun 4/6/2008 10:10p | Honestly, the new design looks very cluttered to me with way too much wasted space. The gray bands on either side look especially bad at resolutions higher than 1024 pixels wide, which are pretty common now.
I do understand that the ads are what pay the bills, but the current design really pulls way too much attention away from the actual content, in my opinion. In fact, if I stumbled on this site without being familiar with it, I think there is a reasonable risk of mistaking it for a shopping site.
Maybe I'll get used to it in time, but I do think some of the choices should be given some reconsideration...

| JeffG Sun 4/6/2008 10:20p | Oh, one other thing. One of the absolute, unbreakable rules of good web design, in my view, is that any top banner ads should never, ever be larger and more prominent than the site's logo. That absolutely screams "spam site" to me and I will generally navigate away very quickly from unfamiliar sites with that design.
