Sun 4/6/2008 8:09p | I know that this isn't the absolute proper place to post this, but, I'm not sure which one is.
I just finished watching J.D. in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I sat there with my mouth open the entire movie trying to see even the slightest resemblance to Capt. Jack and I couldn't see it at all. Nothing, not his actions, his voice, his mannerisms...nothing. I have to admit that he is a very good character actor, albeit strange character.
Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. Maybe others will agree or disagree, but, I, for one, am impressed. |

Sun 4/6/2008 8:29p | That's what I love about Johnny! (Aside from the fact that he's totally hot). He really is an INCREDIBLY versatile actor ... and he does things with characters that no one else would think to do, and pulls it off brilliantly. |

Sun 4/6/2008 9:10p | Really didn't like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...which is saying a lot because I usually like collaborations between Burton and Depp (especially Ed Wood). But I'm looking forward to Depp's upcoming performance in Michael Mann's John Dillinger film. He's a good actor, but an Academy Award nomination for portraying Jack Sparrow? Puh-lease. |

Yeah Johnny Depp is a pretty darn versatile actor. Its also good that his origins are low. A true rags to riches kind of story. |

He is down right good-looking, can act in any role and now sings. I don;t think he can do any better...oh and he loves his fans. |

Mon 4/7/2008 9:46a | He is currently filming the Dilinger movie in the suburb just west of me here outside Chicago. Large crowds at 4:00 AM hoping to catch a glimpse ( I guess he has signed some autographs, so people are thrilled etc ) -

Mon 4/7/2008 10:03a | ^He is known for staying out for hours signing autographs for fans. A neighbor did fire safety for the pirates movies (when they were filming in la), and said he would sit by the fence nearly everyday meeting fans that were there. |
