Topic: Anyone else have problems with Disney's DVD tech.

I thought I would write this up to ask if anyone else has had problems with these people & maybe to warn anyone who may contact them.

Last month I bought the 101 Dalmatians Special Edition. Had some problems getting it to play.
Now, I had had a couple of Disney DVD's in the past have problems playing & contacted them for replacements & was able to get replacements for those with little problem-other than there being slow.

Now, so I had kept their email address on file FOR FUTURE USE JUST IN CASE. I wrote up an email with ALL NECESSARY info on the problem, all the numbers on the DVD PLUS MY NAME, ADDRESS, EMAIL ADDRESS & SCANNED OVER THE CASH REGISTER RECEIPT TO SHOW I DID PURCHASE THE DVD & WAS BEING HONEST.

I also sent all of this, EXCEPT FOR THE SCAN OF THE RECEIPT OF COURSE, through their website.

I actually got contacted quickly but...................NO HELP. Just given their telephone number. THAT DOES NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM & SINCE THE PROBLEM WAS EXPLAINED TO THEM IN DETAILS WHY WAS I NOT JUST HELPED. I emailed back asking again for help. 2cd reply STARTED ASKING ME FOR PROOF OF PURCHASE & MY NAME, ADDRESS, ETC FOR REPLACEMENT. I HAD ALREADY GIVEN THEM ALL OF THIS INFO SO WHY ASK AGAIN.

I had a couple of other contacts which were no help-like giving me the phone number again WHEN ALL INFO WAS PROVIDED.

So, they never sent a replacement not that form to return your DVD to them to get a replacement.

NOW, IT WILL BE A MONTH 4-14-08, THEY WILL NOT CONTACT ME BACK AT ALL.

I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint & provided all the errors DVD technical did. WOULD IT SURPRISE ANYONE THEY HAVE YET TO REPLY TO THE COMPLAINT?

Now, has anyone else had any problems contacting them about problems with your DVD's?

If anyone here has ay problems I hope maybe this post will warn you to be prepared for no help, errors & mistakes.

While I do not have any interactions with the DVD people. I can say that lately a lot of companies just act like they do not care about their customers anymore.

I really do expect more out of Disney. It is so sad that they are acting too lazy to deal with this over the computer.
