| bellefreak22 Mon 4/7/2008 10:33a | I am headed to WDW mid June and we got the water park option. I just can't decide which one to go to. I have never been to TL, but I hear that it is a lot older and not as well kept as BB. Any suggestions or feedback from personal expierience? Thanks! Shauna |

The "ski lift" at Blizzard Beach is great and I love the family raft ride.
Typhoon has the new master blaster water coasters and I love their shark encounter swim through aquarium attraction.
They both have the wave pools, good kiddie areas and the water slide basics too. It really is a toss up. I don't think you can go wrong with either. |

A little tip. Wear a one piece if you go down Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach. My wife gave some onlookers a pretty good show when her bikini top was swept off her at the bottom of the slide.
Blizzard Beach has the wave pool and Typhoon Lagoon has a pool that has a tidal wave every few moments.
For families I prefer Blizzard Beach for the Family Raft ride. I think it's called Teamboat Springs. |

I think I would do BB if its a first time for you, but If I were going to a water park again this year, I would go to TL since ive already been to BB twice. |

The wave pool is great both when doing giant waves and bobbing waves. And Shark Reef is awesome (if you can handle the cold water). I think the atmosphere is better here as well as Blizzard Beach feels a little bit more like a regular water park while Typhoon Lagoon really feels like a water based theme park. But I do prefer the lazy river at Blizzard Beach a little more than the one here. And if you're into the big slides, no question Blizzard Beach is better (although Crushin' Gusher is apparently very cool - Rebekah LOVES it - and BB has nothing like it).

You can get "lost" and feel like you are actually on a Mediterranean Island while there. I don't think you lose sight that you are at WDW when you are at Blizzard Beach. |

| bellefreak22 Mon 4/7/2008 5:48p | Is there normally a long line for the shark encounter? It sounds really interesting, but like something EVERYone would want to do. I don't have the guts to go on summit plummet, but my husband would. as far as crowds, should I aim for a morning where there are extra magic hours? We are staying at CBR |

| Doobie Mon 4/7/2008 7:50p | I've not normally had a long line for it. I've done it as a walk on and done it with about a 10 minute wait. But we tend to not go on the busiest days and we go pretty early. I don't know if it can get a lot more crowded than that though I do know when I've been on it with these short lines, the water slides had much longer lines.
