I watched this in school too. I had the book and it always made me sad when the balloon got stoned. mean kids.

We also saw the I'm no fool films too. I always sing that song to my nephews when they are about to do something stupid, it gets funny when my sister and brother chime in too. Everyone thinks we are nuts and no one seems to have seen the films. Poor deprived souls. :)Guess thats a perk when you grow up on Adak, AK.

I remember the Red Balloon movie too. I think I probably saw it five or six times during grade school during the 70's.

I don't actually remember much about it, except that the balloon just kept on floating around, and there was little to no talking in the movie.
