Hello. I'll be visiting Knott's for the first time in many years. I know they have a lot of new coasters & rides. I'm a pretty big guy (6'4" & 275#) and was wondering if I would have any problems with any of the ride restraints. In the past I've ridden Boomerang, Montezumas, Jaguar with no problems and was probably a little heavier.

I didn't go on everything, but they seemed to have pretty standard sized restraints. If you fit into coasters at other parks, then I would think you would be fine.

Thanks. The only ride I've ever had a problem with was Batman at SFMM.

You should be fine...

A couple of rides you might have problems with..

Xcelerator and Silver Bullet, both have a extra "seat" at the entrance, so you can check and make sure the restraints will close and work prior to getting into line.

You will more than likely won't fit onto La Revolution, heck the Chief Operating Officer of Cedar Fair can't ride it, and he is a "big boy". If you want to try, you can go to the exit of the attraction and ask for a "measurement" prior to getting into line.

Another one you can ask prior to boarding is Perilous Plunge, you can enter the exit to "verify" you match the restraints prior to getting into line on most rides.

Thanks Darkbeer. Just took a look at La Revolucion and I think it's safe to say I won't be riding that. Doesn't even interest me. So that's one off the list. Very smart of them to have the seats at the entrance to test them out. Nothing worse than waiting in line only to find out you don't fit.

I do like the "seat" at the entrance, and I know that USH also offers it for its roller coaster, Revenge of the Mummy. I think it is a great idea, where someone can take their time and see if they can "fit" into the restraints, and if they don't, they don't waste their time standing in line, similar to height bars.

For what it's worth, I've found that Paramount was really good about having the seat out front, back when they owned parks, but I don't know what it's like now. I'm pretty sure that Busch does a good job with it too (although I'm not sure about the SeaWorld rides).
