| dshyates Wed 4/30/2008 1:51p | It was wierd that when Avery took the hit last night and he was holding his side it reminded me of when Peter Forsberg ruptured his spleen and I mentioned it to my buddy. Its odd that when it first came across the wire it said cardiac arrest. I thought it was pretty odd because he is so young. Ruptured sleen makes a lot more sense. |

| brotherdave Wed 4/30/2008 4:15p | Sorry to hear about Avery. Even though I'm hoping that the Penguins defeat the Rangers, we have to remember that they're all still people in those uniforms. I wish him the best and hope that he makes a complete recovery! |

Unless, of couse, its a Red Wings uniform. Sorry couldn't resist. But you're right.
Oh and Brotherdave, Since I left Colorado, the Pens have been my regular team, and I would love nothing more than for the Pans to slap the Red Wings stupid in the finals. Hell, I'd love to see anyone slap the Red Wings stupid (metaphorically, of course). And the Pens are having a great year, particularly the undefeated run through the play-offs. But I have been nothing less than amazed at the skill of this years Red Wings. They are literally skating circles around the Avs, and that isn't something that happens, EVER. So begrudgingly I am still going to have to pick the Wings as the Cup winner. (Great, now I have to go wash my fingers again). |

Sharks were tied 1-1 on Patrick Marleau's shorty in the second...
Not watching. Instead at my boyfriend's house. I wouldn't have been able to handle the emotional stress of watching the game, so I'm not! LOL Keeping updated on www.chompboard.com and here, but there wasn't much update!! |
