Thanks dshyates. I am so excited. It went from a possible sweep to a respectable series. That Miracle is now looking to be within reach.

Congrats TXDISNEYNERD! I just hope that the Stars comeback doesn't inspire the Flyers today!!!

I personally think that the NHL asked both the Red Wings and the pens to throw game 4 of their series to fulfill thier contract with NBC, otherwise NBC would have had no Hockey this weekend. Not a wise move for a league when you are trying to court a major channel for your product. I don't think the NHL is very happy with VS.

Shoooot..

I started watching the Pens game, at the start of the second, 2-0 Pens

I saw the 3rd goal, then fell asleep. I woke up, and it's 4-0. Then 5-0. Then, the Flyers score, but they wave it off (don't know why) and then I woke again and it was 6-0.

Was the final 6-0? I missed the handshakes. Flyers pass up on the 33..

can the Stars do it? They need 2 more.

Yeah, final score 6-0.

No I don't think Dallas will pull it off.

Ohhh what a sweet day it is in Pittsburgh today!!! As it turned out, my fears were unfounded as the Penguins defeated, no OBLITERATED, the Flyers today in Game 5!!! As our Play-by-Play announcer, Mike Lange, today said "Lord Stanley, Lord Stanley, give us your brandy!!!" It has been an AWESOME year for the Penguins, and I look for great things in the finals from them. Whether its Detroit or Dallas, I think the Penguins will triumph - they're THAT good, imho!!! But, even if the unthinkable would happen and they don't win the Cup, we can't help but be entirely pleased with our Penguins!!! What a ride they have given us this year!!!!

Now, only four more wins to go!!!!!

As fate would have it, I was fortunate to miss that abomination yesterday. I promised my mom I'd come down to her house to do some yard work. I went out and the score was 2-0. When I finished cleaning up and packed up the family to go out to eat I asked my my wife what the score was and her reply was, "you don't want to know".

I wasn't able to catch either of the games this weekend...too busy out and about. I did follow the scores when I could, though. Congrats to TXDISNEYNERD for living to fight another day.

Condolences to Fe Maiden for the Flyers, but Congrats to brotherdave on the Pens being the Eastern Conference champs. I'm sorry I didn't get to see any of that game yesterday. It sounds like a great capper for them. Onto a date with Lord Stanley!

Although Detroit has opened the door to the Stars in the last two games, I predict the Wings will put it away tonight. They'll likely draw inspiration from knowing the Pens are already resting and waiting.

Hey brotherdave. Pens VS. Wings Sat. 8pm.

Sorry TXDISNEYNERD, at least your guys went out in better shape than My Avs (8-2), or the Flyers(6-0).
