A Detroit fan told me after Game Two that our 'Pens ran out of ink'! Well, Wednesday night proved that those Pens refilled their 'ink' from those dead octopi on the ice in Detroit and are alive and well!
Game 4 in the Igloo tomorrow night! The Pens HAVE to win this one if they want a chance to win the Cup. GO PENS!!!!

Sat 5/31/2008 8:09a | I think the Pens are going to come into tonight's game chaged for a win. They know they can do it. Now its really up to the Red Wings to stop them. And the Wings have trouble dealing with an aggresive offensive game. They are used to skating around most of the game with the puck. Knock them off the puck and they fall apart. Oh, and the pens need to figure out how to get it through the neutral zone better. |

Sat 5/31/2008 7:56p | It looks all but over my beloved Penguins. Pittsburgh loses their first game at home since February, but it appears that it might be their last one at home. Detroit wins 2-1, up 3 games to 1 in the series.
The Pens looked great in the first, and I really thought that they would have a good chance to win this game and tie the series up. Alas, the Red Wings dominated the third period, especially killing off the 2 man advantage the Penguins had in the third.
It's not over yet, but, given how the Wings have dominated the series, I'm not expecting a miracle for the Pens now.
I'm still hoping that they'll win on Monday in Detroit! LET'S GO PENS!!!!

On the upside, the Stars were in a must-win situation against Detroit for three consecutive games...winning two. The Wings can be beat on home ice. The Pens can do it! |

It's been 66 years since the last team came back from a 3-1 deficit and won the Cup (Toronto beating Detroit). It's POSSIBLE, but, I'm being realistic. It's highly unlikely, especially against this talented Red Wings team. But, if any team can do it, it COULD be the Penguins!
