Yeah, the main story last night wasn't their best (though it did provide some actual dramatic moments), but they always seem to make up for it with moments like the Michael/Darryl "fluffy fingers" conversation or the bit with Dwight and the car that consistently put this show a cut above.

What about Michael sticking his face in the concrete? Classic, especially when Dwight told him to really put his face in there and Michael responded with.......

<<(though it did provide some actual dramatic moments)>>

The scene with Michael and Stanley alone along with Little Miss Sunshine shows that Steve Carrell is a really good actor. I would have no problems seeing him in a drama or comedy.

I don't think season 1 of 30 Rock was bad nessisarily Mr. X, I'm just a MASSIVE Tina Fey fan, So when I hear she got full run over her own show with that cast, my expectations were through the roof, but even still it was better than most anything else on tv. Just I was a touch dissapointed

I didn't catch the actor's name, but the kid that Michael at first shunned then tried to woo looked a lot to me like the kid who used to play Frederick on Frasier all grown up. That could be totally wrong.

I did get part of Michael's speech at the end: "H&R Block?! I mean, come on, what do they do? The Air Force?! Well, um, the Air Force is cool..."
