| crazycroc Fri 4/11/2008 11:10a | I'm starting to bore with the track layout, my daughter is making me ride this too much for it to be enjoyable anymore.
Anyone know of any spots where you can take a hard turn and hop the track?
Or an area away from the prying eyes of CM's where I could physically pick the car up off the track and go off-roading with it?
Also, anyone ever done this?
Thanks, I'm hoping to reinvigerate my love for this attraction. |

And kudos for continuing to take your daughter on it anyway. Praise be to good parents! There are not many left in this world ;) |

| FerretAfros Fri 4/11/2008 2:09p | There's the super exciting part near where the Fantasyland Autopia used to load where you get to go "off roading". But I don't think that's what you were really aksing about... : ) |

Any CM's or former CM's with inside info? |

More!!! More!!! More!!!
I can only dream of that type of Autopia excitement.
Someday, I'll get that car off the track and ride it down the service road by the back monorail tracks. Try and stop me Disney! |

They are designed to lower in order to get the cars over to the maintainence area (under the grandstands) each night. You can easily see the divisions in the segments when you walk over them on the way into the queue. I doubt it would be very easy to get them to go down (I assume they're done on hydraulics or something pretty sturdy) and it would be tough to do with so many CM's so close to you, but that would probably be the easiest area... |

Hi crazycroc! One of my close friends used to be one of the mechanics that worked on the Autopia cars. He's told me a few stories of exactly what you just mentioned, the only difference was that he had disengaged the speed governor... |

| SBSBelle22 Mon 4/14/2008 10:24a | Didn't the track used to be a lot longer though, way back when? I'm not sure, well, whether it was or not, they should make it longer... and add some things of more interest... or there should be an "adult" line with no middle track and where the cars went *slightly* faster :D |
