Amazon are usually quite good and you can be sure the book will arrive within a couple of days of release. I'm not a big fan of TDR merchadise anyway and I tend to only buy certain items like CD's and this book! |

| Malin Tue 4/22/2008 11:54a | My book finally arrived today and its a fantastic book full of many beautiful pictures. I am very impressed with this purchase and some of the pictures are keepers for sure, like the Mickey looking across at the castle. The DVD is a nice little bonus althrough for me anyway has very little repeat vaule not like the book, which I can view over and over again. |

| The Goddess Mara Tue 4/22/2008 12:37p | My copy arrived day before yesterday. Great book. Better, I think, than the DisneySea book. I loved the DVD. Unlike Malin, I think it will have high repeatability for me. One of the things I find most enjoyable about the Tokyo Disney Resort is its tranquility, and the DVD really emphasizes that. |

Completely agree with you on that The Goddess Mara, I think the pictures used are a lot better and some of the pictures are very rare and much more unique, compared to the TDS book. Althrough thats worth buying too. |

| leemac Wed 4/23/2008 1:26a | I must admit I'm in two minds about this book. Although I'm delighted it didn't go the usual Kodansha route (I really do hate Japanese-style publications - especially the likes of Disney Fan with a million tiny images of food and keychains - but appreciate that the local market loves them) there are still some images that are a little too marketing-esque for my liking. That said there are some real gems (if I recall the snow ones are the pretty cool).
Probably the best book (photographic-wise) I've seen of TDR in Japan but I wish they had pushed the boat out a little more. That said there are people that have said that our images in Tales are sometimes a little too artsy for their own good. Personally I think we get a pretty good balance but it is impossible to please all of the people all of the time. :-) |

Thanks! |

| Malin Fri 6/27/2008 2:43p | Talking of TDR books has anyone else heard about the two new ones. One is titled Tokyo Disney Resort chronicle and the second is to do on the Art Festival. If anyone know what these books are about feel free to let me know and if there worth purchasing or not! |
