Flash back time!
I thought it might be fun to post things we remember about we were younger.

(Please let this be a fun lighthearted thread only. It's just to give us a smile and a flashback.)

I remember when I used to sleep in the back window of our car when we were on long road trips.

I remember looking forward to the annual television airing of "The Wizard of Oz". If there was just one thing on TV we had to see, that was it.

It was always in the spring (it seemed) and my mom always made homemade fudge. I still think of fudge whenever I hear songs from it or think of it.

My memory: coming home from school and playing outside until dark. Nobody worried about me...we were safe.

I remember the annual watching of the Oz too! Somehow it's less special now you can watch it on DVD anytime (still love it tho).

I also remember watching The Muppet Show and how every member of the family loved it. It was one of the few shows we all agreed on.

I remember Walnettos. Man, I miss those. And eating those waxy skeletons and coke bottles. They didn't taste very good to me at all (either the wax OR the liquid inside) but I thought I was SO cool and SO grownup, like my two older siblings.

I remember my Mr.Peanut peanut butter maker. All you had to do was add peanuts to him and crank the handle and it made peanut butter. I also remember when I had a Crazy Cart. It had two big wheels on either side of it and a seat right inthe middle of the wheels and the handles were on the insdie of the wheels and you had to turn the handles to get the wheels to move and you couldnt go straight, you went all crazy all over the place. It was so much fun!

(just sent LS an email)

I remember those things where you'd pour in the goop and make creepy crawly things...bugs and stuff. What were those things called?

Ooooh oooh, remember that cat clock with the big eyes and the tail that swung back and forth?
