| Shiva Wed 4/23/2008 3:00p | >>^--It seems that Shiva and I grew up in the same decade, but on different planets.<<
I was primarily referring to the late '50s & early 60's. Things became much more relaxed after 1964. I was also raised outside of California where those values may held on for a little longer. I experienced major culture shock when I moved out here in '68.
>>(Yes, I know you're older than I am, Shiva, but not by that much.)<<
...and you're tall, thin, good looking and have all your own hair too. Is there anything else you'd like to rub in?
<--goes to pout in the corner for a while. |

| Lady Starlight Wed 4/23/2008 5:48p | I remember when the Freedom Train passed through town in 1976. It was really kinda cool to be able to buy a ticket to go on it and look around, and they painted the side of the dam on the way to, I think it was Norco. Please correct me if it wasn't Norco. 1776-1976 200 years of Freedom. |

| sherrytodd Wed 4/23/2008 5:51p | I remember my Easy Bake Oven.
It was amazing what I could bake with a light bulb.
And we used to go out and ride our bikes all day long and we would not get in trouble so long as we were home in time for dinner. |
