I remember when you could go into a local mom & pop owned corner grocery store and buy penny candies that were big enough to actually see.

Where to start???

I remember when my mom made matching outfits for Ursula and I. I hated it but now looking at the pictures we were kind of cute.

I remember my dog Snoopy-the best dog in the world. He died when I was 13, but I wouldn't trade those years for anything. His pictures make me smile.

I remember our first VCR, our first cable box, and our first DVD player. They were each as big as a house.

I remember loving to splash in puddles in the rain.

I remember concerts costing about $10.

I remember pinwheels.

I remember that we were never allowed to eat fast food or junk food except for Friday night movie night. We would pick up pizza and have hot chocolate. On the weekends we popped popcorn and made lemonade. I loved watching B-horror movies!

I, too, loved my Snoopy snow cone machine.

We made homemade candles as a family.

I remember being in CampFire Girls and camping. I really love camping. I haven't been in a while.

Loved Twilight Zone and Three Stooges marathons.

Wait a minute, wait a minute.

Somebody mentioned fudge. Lady Starlight, do you make your own, or do you parcel out the fudge from DL? And what does Tiger Butter taste like?

You're talking about the only food group now, so I had to intervene.

I need details. And a recipe. And I promise to only make it and eat it on my free Friday nights. :)

I remember looking forward to seeing "Cinderella" on TV with Leslie Ann Warren and Stuart Damon.
... my Incredible Edibles machine
... Barbies!
... H.R. Pufnstuf
... Watching American Bandstand EVERY Saturday!
... My best friend and I LOVED the Cowsills! I was in love with John!
... My grandfather taking me to Candlestick Park and seeing Willie Mays play
... My friends and I would constantly be going to the movies. Then we got old enough to go to work and never found the time.
... Going to the State Fair in Sacramento
I could go on forever on this topic!!!
