I guess you get a bunch of cool stuff like a free trip to LA along with a helicopter ride and shopping spree. Needless to say, I entered and I am counting the days til I win and can live "the dream"! |

| 999HAUNTS Wed 4/16/2008 2:41p | I saw the trailer a few nights ago at the theater and I was totally blown away.
I do not like comic books much, but I must say that there have been a few decent movies lately because of these fine creations.
I had a crush on Mr. Jr back in the 80's, but please let me say that the man has definitely aged well. O M G is he a bonafied H O T T I E. Whew!
The only Iron Man I was ever interested in was the song by Black Sabbath, but let me tell you one thing...I will so be at the movies for this one on opening day. Did I mention how hot he is? Oh, and he's pretty hot, too. |

The trailer looks pretty amazing, and so far Downey is one of the the most likable heroes I've seen is a while. (The new Hulk has got me pretty worried, and Tobey Maguire really got on my nerves.) I think this could be big.

Could be an expensive summer! (Anyone see the Speed Racer Trailer?) |

Yep. Looks, uh, strange. I loved Speed Racer when I was 10. Not sure how I will feel when I see this movie. It 'looks' like Speed Racer, but then, it looks like a video game, too. MY 10 year old son can't wait to see it, and has never watched more than one or two episodes of the original. We'll have to wait and see.
As for Iron Man, I'm just not sure yet. We'll probably see it with a double feature at the drive-in next month. It could surprise me and be great. Then again, the trailer might be the best part. We'll just have to wait and see... |

| WilliamK99 Wed 4/16/2008 11:46p | Considering Iron Man is just the first in the new "Marvel Universe" film series I expect this to be huge, especially with the rumored Samuel Jackson appearance and the confirmed appearance of Tony Stark in The Incredible Hulk in July, and comic book fans have alot to be excited about right about now. |

| WilliamK99 Thu 4/17/2008 9:37a | DAR, Marvel has recently reprinted all the Civil War comics in a series called the Civil War Chronicles where they start in the beginning and do the entire saga from the 1st part until the ending. Here is a thread detailing the announcement, if you need a place to order them online I have a reliable online store I use for all my comic purchases, just shoot me an e-mail.

| WilliamK99 Thu 4/17/2008 9:42a | BTW the series costs the normal price of comics but puts 2 issues inside of 1, so it's value for your money if you are interested. |

It's the one written by Mark Millar. I enjoyed parts of it, but there were some things I didn't care for. Maybe if I went back and read the whole thing at once, I'd enjoy it more, rather than reading it issue by issue when it was originally released. |
