And I love those fluffy scrambled eggs! |

| SoThisIsLove Fri 4/18/2008 12:13p | OH! Heavens above, I am happy. We missed it so much last November. That's "our" breakfast place...everyone else just shows up unofficially. I'm so glad. Do you have the website doombuggy?
Semi-related note: I'm going to have to break down and have breakfast at Carnation Cafe too, for once in my life, and get Oscar's special I keep hearing about.

I have heard of no Oscar and his special... what is this? And everytime we're there the Carnation is not open... it's just the Nestle bakery... *why do I feel like I'm missing something...* |

Note that the LUNCH and DINNER menu have changed dramatically from what they were - no longer are there hot entrees, it's only Salads and Sandwiches with Baked Beans and a choice of a cold salad. They have "plussed" the menu with a nice "fixin's bar" which includes several hot items; lettuce; tomato; onions; and some good sauces (BBQ and Horseradish). Breakfast remains the same as always (phew!) - and despite some rumors that were floating around, the Bengal BBQ remains open for business as well. |

| DlandJB Fri 4/18/2008 8:33p | Breakfast is still great, but I'm not crazy about the lunch/dinner. For one thing, it is the same menu for lunch and dinner and the same prices. Sandwiches....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Just not something I'm going out of my way to get to.
On the plus side, the lines are never too long anymore! ;)
