I don't see why you can't base a movie on ANYTHING and have it turn out interesting. I mean, we got kind of a cult classic out of Josie and the Pussycats, didn't we? And then there was that silly Pirate thing based on a theme park ride. They got one good movie from that too. It's no different from any other High-Concept Hollywood poop. They can't help but strike gold occasionally. I wonder how things are going with Michael Eisner and that Bazooka Joe feature of his?
