Oh, also Brown Derby, Sci Fi Dine In and 50's Prime Time are great choices of restaurants too.

Dave, how could you miss suggesting a character meal for first-timers?

Oh, I suppose if you are looking for a character meal, Liberty Tree Tavern Thanksgiving style dinner is worth a shot.

Or are you ribbing me Russ? ;-)

Thanks. It will be hard to choose restaurants. Looking like the Dining Plan will be a good idea. We probably won't do a character meal, but it's nice to know we could change our minds.

Do you get to know which characters will be at a certain meal?

Hmmm, please be advised that to secure any of the top restaurants, you will need to book 180 days in advance. It is very difficult to get in to a number of the restaurants I have listed on a whim. WDW is very different to DL in this regard.

Not necessarily - but at the moment Pooh and gang are at Crystal Palace, the fab five minus Mickey is at Liberty Tree, Mickey and co at Chef Mickey's, and the Princesses at the Castle and Akershus.

Be sure to check out Deb Will's site www.allearsnet.com

It's the best web resource for planning WDW trips.

I figured there was a good chance you might not want to do a character meal. On the face of it, it seems weird to adults w/o kids. But yes, each restaurant that offers them pretty much has a set cast of characters you'll see.

Yeah, we'd have to change our minds in the next two years, before the 180 days start. I think it's safe to say we'll be happy enough without a character meal. I just thought I'd be nice in case you REALLY thought we must go to a character meal. I'd say Belle's my favorite but I'll survive if I don't see her.

So far, I think California Grill, Boma, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Le Cellier, Biergarten (German fiance), Liberty Tree for lunch, and Kimonos for sushi. I guess it's a good thing we're going when parks close earlier so we don't have to eat at the hotel restaurants at 9.

Another vote for Boma. 'Ohana is also great.

We went to Sea World for the first time in feb. We have never been to any other Sea World and we were very disappointed. We only thought that one show out of 4 were any good and the park is so small.
