I don't know how much you saw, Lisann, but the guy was posting relentlessly and at one point went through several screen names in the course of minutes.
That's not an easy mess to clean up, and I feel bad for the mods in this case.
I hope that weirdos such as this won't discourage Doobie and the others from wanting to bother with forums at all (that's my big worry!).
Unfortunately, that's also a part of cyberworld (and unlike real life there is no option to "walk away", "hang up", or otherwise rid yourself of such a person. in real life someone doing that kind of harassing could be brought up on charges). |

I don't know how low a self esteem it takes to incessantly try to join a group where you are not wanted, but it is a lot lower than I would ever want to have.
If nothing else, after a couple of weeks transition, why would anyone give the place that banned you the idea that you would even freaking care to come back?
I've been banned from sites. I've NEVER begged to come to one. There is a point where most people salvage some scrap of self respect and don't go any lower.
