"I like USH very much."

You too dave? I don't think there are a whole lot of us out there who fully appreciate the place.

Ya, USH might be small on attractions but that joint has a very cool identity.
I love the vistas overlooking "The Valley" and the steep, intimidating escalators. I think Universal puts on a quality show too and no Southern Cal. trip for me feels complete without at least tapping City Walk for dining.

Yes I do. I love the history of the place, the fact you could see them filming at any moment. Also, mix in the vistas, some fun attractions, and a great set of shows and exibits. It's real!

I have wonderful memories, and I go for a real experience. I suppose I have grown out of amusement parks. I like theme parks and elaborate visitor attractions.

See dave thats is the great thing about Disney parks is they do have a lot for everybody (except real thrill seekers). We can both enjoy DAK in our own ways. I think DAK is the best themed of the US Disney parks. And I was blown away when it opened but thought of it similarly to MGM when it opened. Great themeing, but too light on attractions most specifically attractions and shows to carry the park past dusk. And with beastly whatever rumored I really expected more since opening. Everest is a great addition. And even though I haven't seen Nemo, I can't tell you how happy I am that they replaced "Tarzan Blows" with it. But then there is Chester & Hester's, truly a wart on the face of an angel.
And I may have mentioned the excuse that a theme park can't stay open past dusk because the animals are asleep seems odd. Its been 10 years and the brainiacs at WDI haven't been able to find a way to keep a theme park open past dusk because the animals go to sleep.

yes, and if only there were one big sink hole right under that section of the park I would be thrilled.

Re C&H, I think we can all agree on that point.

And yes Dsyates, I agree, Disney should pony up and invest for a night time experience. Shame Rivers of Light was pulled, it sounded very cool.

Just imagine a day in the park, dinner and drinks at Yak and Yeti as sun sets. An after dinner showing of Nemo, a moonlit safari, a River of Light parade, followed by a ride on EE in the dark. Sounds like a great evening to me.

Sometimes I wonder if Disney goers really know just how well detailed AK is.
The vegetation/landscapes, architecture and props leave me bugeyed.

One has to marvel at the amazing details of the Tree of Life, Everest, animal exibits as well as the sounds throughout the park. Even the walkways have appropriate imprints and meander in a natural looking fashion--- I could spend hrs. there just taking in the sights and sounds without riding the parks headliners or seeing a high quality show like Nemo musical or Lion King.

Oh, and as far as USH, I love it for what it is, and its place in movie history. Similarly I love the Chinese Theater and the Walk of Fame, Hollywood and Vine. The Pantages and the El. It was a fantastic time. No one should visit Hollywood and not see it. But I went once.
As far as the MK being my favorite park in Otown. It is mostly for nostalgic reasons, and I am not happy about the rot and toons either. I think it is still a fantastic park, but far from the spot on park I grew up with. I can't believe Spectrotragic wasn't scrap heaped years and I mean YEARS ago. Stitch, Buzz and MILF in Tomorrowland. Iago and Zazu in Tiki. Seriously, WiskeyTangoFoxtrot!!!

That'll be $250/pp. But you get to fling a cabbage at a Hippo.
