From my point of view, no matter what the new show is, it cannnot possibly be worse than the previous show, which is on par with Stitch's Great Escape as the worst thing WDI has ever done.

I would think that Stitch Hawaiian songs would fit rather well into a tiki room theme. Plus, Hawaii in general is very popular in Japan, perhaps more so than it is in the US, so if done right, it might just work out really well.

I am hoping if this is a success that they change Tiki Room at Disneyland, not that it needs it, I just feel it would take the heat off the IASW changes for awhile if they changed Tiki Room as well...

I hope not I'm sick and tired of all the negative reaction this makeover is recieving online. Imagine if Stitch were to replace the DLR version, it would cause public out cry from the same people who are scared to see it change.

That's why I am hoping it happens, I love seeing people get their panties in a bunch over something they have no control over.

"Yuck. But I'm sure it will play well to the audience in Japan - they seem to just LOVE their character stuff. But let's hope this doesn't make it's way to The States!!"

I don't know, it doesn't sound any worse than "Under New Management". Although I don't think having two attractions with the same Stitch AA in the same park would be all that good...

"it would cause public out cry from the same people who are scared to see it change."

Is it really so hard to believe that just because someone isn't interested in seeing yet another attraction become a cartoon-fest that they aren't scared of change? I know I would personally welcome a change to the Tiki Room show - but not for more cartoon characters. I think Disneyland already has enough attractions with the 'toons. Let's have something more original, please.

I'd love to see it replace "Under New Management" at WDW, if that means they turn "Stitch's Great Escape" back to something else, perhaps "Alien Encounter?"

Tomorrowland in WDW is in a real mess. Stitch's Great Escape is crap. Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor is good for exactly one viewing (and it's only moderately entertaining, even then). And they're about to close Space Mountain for a year.
But none of this has anything to do with the Tiki Room in Tokyo Disneyland.

I don't think any of the Tomorrowland's are being used proparely, except may Paris. As far as I know DLRP's Discoveryland is using all available space and has no attractions, currently being un used. You could probarely say the same for HKDL Tomorrowland, DLR and WDW TL's have been highly documented, and TDL's TL could also do with a decent makeover, as at the moment its a mess, with retro looking attractions trying to fit in with some of the more modern attractions.
