So what happens if you swear to obey all of god's laws and then go back on everything you sweared on? I thought I remembered a certain individual (Satan) saying something about that in a film I watched once upon a time... |

I imagine there are eternal laws but they are more like gravity than having to dunk your head in water. Science has laws, religion has superstition.

| Mr X Thu 5/1/2008 8:20p | I don't know about anyone else, but that watching films thing seems really kitschy to me...very cultish.
Is that why you're angry, Josh? Because he brought up some films?
I think it's interesting that you generally enter into these talks to proclaim what you believe in but then when someone starts getting too specific in refuting your statements you get angry and storm off. |

And I "storm off" when Eighth or others go from person conversation to their "tried and true" anti-mormon jargon, popular quotes, and the like. I don't want to waste my time re-hashing those popular anti-mormon topics time and time again.

I have been reading on Einstein, and his take, although basically atheistic, shows that he was still utterly amazed by the whole thing. The moral is, if Einstein couldnt figure it out, it probably cant be figured out, at least not with our limited capacity.

Then he steps on them again. But his flowers sure are pretty. He likes to smell them while he watches temple movies and drinks water. |

I was not attacking, just challenging your statement. Everything you say portrays your religion as the prefect feel-good religion. I don't agree that it is and when I hear you say something I don't believe is correct I challenge you on it.
Sorry if that upsets you. I suppose we are approaching the discussion differently. You are hoping to preach your message to anyone who will listen while I challenge the message.
It sucks when you have "answers" for everything and someone questions whether they are the correct answers or not. |

Thanks X, glad you noticed. |
