| Kar2oonMan Thu 4/24/2008 4:24p | >>I imagine it's like dropping off a little baby in the middle of Disneyland. Being that little, the child wouldn't know how to enjoy it, or even be able to take care of itself. But let that child grow up and learn a thing or two, and then it would be like Heaven to the child who has learned.<<
Oh great. Heaven's going to filled with people running around scooping up all the FastPasses, I just know it.

If existance is to eternally grow and learn than it also means that we will not understand something. As long as there is something that we cannot understand than it stands to reason we will also have to have faith. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1

But the beauty part is the line never closes and there are no breakdowns or maintenance interuptions.

How do you know that, did god tell you?
Anyway, forever is still forever. |

| WorldDisney Thu 4/24/2008 5:18p | ^^Yep, agreed (again) Mr. X!!
Again, all these HUMAN concepts of heaven and hell is nice and sweet, not a problem, but like I said in my last thread, everything else pretty much just dies on this planet, but us humans are 'just being tested' for something better, according to all the books written by humans a few thousand years ago when during times when most thought lightning meant God was angry at them for something they did, whatever that happen to be ;).
I mean yeah, that makes COMPLETE sense to me lol.
And no one has answered my question: Are we still DOING IT in heaven??? And is it better than before? I imagine with eternity to practice, us men can actually learn to be good at it by then ;). |

Paging WD to the "Fine Cuisine" thread.
That is all.

The real question is, if god is a dude like everyone seems to assume, isn't he terribly frustrated after all these zillions of years, with no goddess?
I mean, even Santa has Mrs. Claus right? |

| EighthDwarf Thu 4/24/2008 5:50p | Thanks for the quote Elderp, but I am pretty sure Paul was referring to having faith in this life, not the next.
If you are required to have faith in the next life, can you lose it? If so, then it's not eternal life. If not, then it's not faith - it's knowledge. |

LOL! You need to find a religion that allows you to have as many wives and as much sex as you want in the afterlife. There are a couple folks on this board that can give you the details. |

Depends on your definition of eternal life. To me eternal life is progression in one's own existence. |
