1	mnmears Fri 4/25/2008 11:42a	Thre's a new, fascinating documentary about Walt Disney's Latin American trip that formed the basis for "Saludos Amigos" and "The Three Caballeros" by filmmaker Ted Thomas. Thomas calls 1941 -- before the bombing of Pearl Harbor -- one of the most fascinating and critical years for Walt Disney. The idea for the "Walt & El Grupo" film was fostered by Walt's daughter, Diane Disney Miller, and she wants people to see it. It's premiering and will be shown the next few days in San Francisco and then be making the film festival rounds.
