Tokyo Disneyland also uses the Hook face character for One Man's Dream 2. I guess face characters are rather popular at the Resort anyway, also the Beast is being played in human form this time around, yet more evidence that Jubilation is less character driven.
Look forward to the rest of the 25th Anniversary coverage, Lee. |

Thankfully I have only seen that awful show once - and have blocked it out from my mind entirely. :-) |

I remember myself and another LP Board Member were going to see this show on my last trip but were turned away due to full capacity. I wasn't to upset as its not my favourite Stage Show at the Resort. I'm not sure where you stand on TDR shows Lee but I would much perfer Mystic Rhythms or Big Band Beat. I think One Man's Dream 2 needs to go and be replaced by a new character show. The Golden Mickey's that has been staged on the Cruise Ships and at HK Disneyland is a rather good character show I think! |

I actually think that if they are going to keep using the masks as they do (because then they would obviously have to hire more face cast to do it the other way, and they probably don't want to do that) is to actually create new masks that look much closer to their film images, and with a much more softer and friendlier look. They've updated face masks before, so I don't see why they couldn't do it with the fairies.
Also, interesting that WDW uses a face fairy godmother but masked versions for the 3 good fairies. Since DL went to face for them, I think it shows that's the best way to go. I guess when POD goes over to the magic kingdom, we'll see what they do...better be face. ;) |

| TDR_Fan Sun 4/27/2008 6:40p | Great photos! It's nice to finally see some high quality shots of the parade.
Speaking of photos, do you have any plans to do a photo tour of the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel? I really enjoyed your previous photo articles on the HKDL Hotel and the Hollywood Hotel. |

| SuperDry Sun 4/27/2008 9:50p | The LP photo spread of J! looks fantastic. Having seen the parade in person and feeling unimpressed, I have to wonder why that is. Two obvious differences are that the photos don't capture the kinetics or the music of the parade, and those are both critical elements in making the whole thing come together. |

Thanks TDR_Fan - we will be covering the hotel in our summer issue of Tales - it will depend on whether we get clearance from OLC for the site.
We covered the HKDL and Hollywood Hotels in Issue 4:

I hope we will be featuring more hotels in the future - the Grand Hawaiian is obviously one we will be covering in the future. |

THAT'S it's name?? Oh brother! Something more creative for the first standalone Disney resort would have been nice (I'm not counting the DVC's). |
