Actually, they already did - there are five that have been added, and worstened it.

I am talking about Disney animated characters, and I don't think the majority agree with your assesment of the ride, I think most people enjoy the additions to the ride, although I do prefer the Pirates ride at Europa Park myself to POTC.

I like the AA's alright, but I hate the way they hashed the dialogue.

<<<I am willing to put 10 grand on the fact Disney would never add characters to POTC within the next 10 years, so if any of you who are saying "I wouldn't be surprised if they did" want to put your money where your mouth is, let me know...>>>
Careful William, if there's money in it for Disney to make, you never know what they will do.

No cartoon characters, but they are adding the entire cast of Muppet Treasure Island.

I am just tired of people starting pointless rumors just to get people riled up.

Cool! Even better! Instead of sailing through the waterfall curtain of Davy Jones, it will be Animal now, right? ;-)

While I agree with you about disliking the change in dialogue, I have to admit that they did a pretty seamless job mixing the old and the new together.

And since we're talking about WDW's pirates, it could only be improved anyway.

^^I dunno.

I thought MK's PoC was vastly inferior to the Anaheim and Paris (and Tokyo, I'm sure) versions to begin with. But at least it was a coherent, quality attraction.

The Sparrowization at MK has really muddied the attraction because it is so shoehorned, so forced into a much shorter, more condensed area to begin with.

No sooner have you left the dock then you see Davy Jones (the projection isn't very clear either but ...) immediately. It's just very jarring.

In Anaheim, they were able to seamlessly integrate the characters. They feel more like they belong in that narrative. Not in O-Town.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
