We are planning a trip to WDW that includes a 4 day Disney Cruise. We'll be spending 3 days in the parks, depart for the cruise, and then 3 more days in the parks. Does Disney Cruise Lines allow us to take our stroller on board the ship? We are considering taking our stroller but we don't know what to do with our stroller if they don't allow them on the ship. Any insight would be appreciated?

Also, we are going back to the same hotel after the cruise, will they store if for us while we cruise? TIA

I have the same plan as you (for Nov) -- days at WDW prior to and after the 4-day. My travel agent called Disney with the storage question, and they told her NO. I was surprised since the resort has a HUGE warehouse room for luggage. So I went to the resort (last month) and asked for myself. I asked both the cruise desk and bell hop -- and both said the same thing -- YES, absolutely not a problem. So - call your resort directly and ask them.

I even took my "plan" a step further and wanted to use the cruise tags to send some luggage directly from my home airport check-in to the ship (not use that "cruise clothes" during the prior days at WDW) but found out this is NOT possible/recommended. In order to use the cruise tags, you must be arriving the same day as your cruise. (I thought that was rather odd since they recommend West coast travelers to arrive the day prior.)

Not that you asked, but I also found out that even though we are not taking Disney transportation to the cruise (16 of us is quite expensive - there are much cheaper options!) we can still send our luggage (~$25 for 6 bags; $3 each add'l) so that they "magically" appear in our stateroom. We thought this is great since we don't want to deal with our luggage.

And one more piece of info for you ... after the cruise, regardless of your transportation (even if it is Disney), you are completely responsible for your luggage! Apparently the "magic" is over.

About the stroller on the ship - I don't know. I'd be surprised (shocked) if they are not allowed since you could feasibly need one at a port.

Thanks dlgirler for the information. I emailed the Disney Cruise line and here is the information I received (in case anyone else is interested).

"You may absolutely bring your own stroller to use at the Walt Disney
World Resort, onboard the Disney Wonder and the ports of call. After
all, we want the little one to be comfortable, too!"

Thanks again for the information.

Also, I just read in my disney cruise book that the ship lends strollers out. (If I had the book in front of me, I would quote it directly.)
