| davewasbaloo Thu 5/1/2008 1:44p | Now Ruthie, don't make us come over, drag you down to Disneyland and force you to have a good time by waltzing down MS while blowing rasberries on your cheeks.
remember, you guys helped us become born again Disneyland fans!!!! |

| gottaluvdavillains Thu 5/1/2008 1:47p | The magic will return - I have had my SIL and my x best friend try and ruin it for me also - it is sad that some can't respect our feelings of a place like Disneyland and if they really want to air dirty laundry or though tempertantrums do it in a more appropriate place - like somewhere private where it doesn't have to turn in to a specticle for others to witness!
In reading how with all your DIL was going through and how you repected their need to be alone and grabbed Chloe and gave them some time alone. You gave Chloe a wonderful day that day instead of leaving her in a situation she would not have understood. I think everyone would agree you seem to come off as a very sweet and caring person that would do anything for your family and you truely love them all deeply. With that said I hope your daughter can realize what a mistake she made - especially in a place you love so much - and realize how lucky she truely is to have a mom like you!

Well, Dave, hmmmmm, let me think.... 1) He's very cute. 2) He cooks. 3) He is funny. 4) He talks more than I do. 5) He spells "Monee" with two e's instead of with an e-y. 6) He's so nice. Well, at least he was to us. 7) I watched him on Food Network's "next Foodnetwork Star" and just loved his personality. 8) Did I mention he was cute? 9) He reminds me of some of the guys I hung out with in high school - kinda crazy. 10) He worked his butt off to raise money to study cooking in France, so I would assume he's not lazy. I hate lazy guys. 11) It's funny that he still uses the phrase "It's on like Donkey Kong". 12) He's cute, too. |

| gottaluvdavillains Thu 5/1/2008 2:02p | Oh and according to my sister not only does he cook - but he's an awesome cook - my sister loves both his restaurants and has for a long time!! If you are ever in the santa rosa area his restaurants are http://www.johnnygarlics.com/ http://www.texwasabis.com/
I guess the tex wasabi's has a sac location now too -
My sister says occasionally she still sees Guy at Johnny Garlics |

| SoThisIsLove Thu 5/1/2008 2:27p | iamsally! So proud of you for being a big girl on Main Street and I'm glad we all got a wee bit information on what went down...I was too afraid to ask.
(*Editor's note: adult children can and do break your hearts sometime)
I am looking forward to the day when I too, can recognize LP'ers, and enjoy part of the day with them. So very, very, very glad that you had that opportunity.
And kudos to you local DL LP folk for being so nice and meeting up with the out of towners! xoxox
Your trip report was great, exhaution-typed or not...made me feel like I was right there with you and that's the perfect medicine for me right now! |

| 999HAUNTS Thu 5/1/2008 2:36p | I knew about Johnny Garlic's but wasn't quite sure where Santa Rosa was. I just Googled it and it's about 6 hrs from my house. I'll have to do a weekend trip soon! |

| iamsally Thu 5/1/2008 3:52p | Haunts: Santa Rosa is less than an hour from Discovery Kingdom. We could get together for a day of fun, then have dinner. (Sounds like a NoCal meet in the making to me.) |
