I though I might be making this trip without the family this year. But, then some plans were changed and my DS the Mrs. will be there too. So, we booked the Grand instead. Might as well live it up (Thank you DVC!). Unfortunately, I have to leave on Friday to get up to Tehachapi to visit my DD who is going to a camp there that week. So, I'll see everyone who is going to be around that week (including the 17th), and at various meets.

76	tinkerbell1962 Thu 5/1/2008 9:20p	I was really excited to find this!! What a dream come true. The closest I've been to Club 33 is having my picture taken at the door! I haven't been to a DL meet before, only a couple of local Phoenix meets. I don't know if I'm more excited about the breakfast or nervous on the meet!! I've convinced a few friends to join me - one other LPer and two who are not! We are going to make it a "Mommies only - no kids weekend"!! We're excited, but the dads aren't! We have a collection of 11 kids between the four of us. Thanks on the Hojo discount info! That's where we were planning on staying anyway.
77	Stacers76 Thu 5/1/2008 10:05p	So MissHaunts there was right :o) Right on the HoJo page linked from the banner above it says the AP holder discount is 20%. It's nice that they extended that offer to us non AP'ers too! One more souvenir I can buy! :)

80	LuLu Fri 5/2/2008 8:58a	Well... we are halfway there (to 50)... in less than 2 days! tink62, I finally get to meet you! Nothing to be nervous about, LPers are notoriously friendly :-) BTW they generally set up round tables of 8 (there may have been some 10's) so you'll know half the people at your table ;-) At this meet you're mostly seated at your table, so it's really up to the individual if they want to chat and mingle with other LPers. Sorry for those who can't make it :-( Miss Haunts was right, of course. Just b/c I *thought* it was 15% didn't mean I thought I was right! :-D Good to know...
