<<mawnck: I wonder if Ms. Liebovitz will be invited to do any more of those, after permanently tarnishing poor lil' ol' Miley's reputation by forcing her to voluntarily expose her shoulder?>>

Personally, I find the Annie Leibovitz photos totally UN-Disney. Outside of the subjects and costumes, the content has very little to relate to the Disney characters they are based on. I think someone in Disney has some sort of illogical attraction with this "name" photographer, much like Eisner did with "name " architects.

Wow, I didn't know so many of you would be so rude in response to my question. They are ads for Disneyland, whether you like them or not. Everyone is allowed their own opinion, right? Sorry such an innocent question turned so ugly.

Discussion board. We discuss. Everyone IS allowed their opinion, even if it disagrees with the OP's. Don't take it personal.

I don;t take it personal, I am just surprised by people's comments. I just disagee when some posters say this thread has nothing to do with Disneyland. They were billboards advertising the park. If it were a discussion about the Nemo billboards, I'm sure it would be different.

People may be looking at this as an extention of the Miley Cyrus/Annie Liebovitz thread in World Events -

I think the ads are wonderful. Reminds me of the kind of creative things Disney did in the past before everything became so homogenized.

To me they're not fantastic, but then again the use of B-, C-, and D-list celebrities doesn't fire up my imagination.
