I know at Disneylan dyou can still use a fast pass even the return window has passed, usually. Is it the same at WDW?

I believe it's pretty much the same at both places. There are just more non-locals in WDW, so those sorts of tricks don't tend to be as well known. I've never been turned away for using an expired FP on either coast, but I do always keep in mind that technically it's past the time, so there is always that chance that they won't let me back in. But it's never really been a problem...

Hi,
My husband and I were at Disney World this past week with some friends who have annual passes. They use expired fast passes, and told us that cast members are cool with it. We certainly enjoyed using them during our trip! :)

We had no problem using Fast Passes past the time printed on the tickets at WDW. But, I think it's only valid for the date issued only. I don't think you can use them past the date printed on the ticket. (Or has anyone done this and it worked?)

I don't want ot start another FP debate, but this is part of the problem with FP. If it's expired it shouldn't be used the same day or later that year. Just trying to "put one over on WDW" so you don't have to wait as long doesn't seem right with me. I am by no means a "goody goody". Although some of you may think differently since I also don't think it's OK to bring your mugs back on another trip - but I digress.

I would hope a CM wouldn't actually be OK with it, but they don't get paid enough to argue with someone over this.

i believe on of the reasons they accept this at Disneyland, is if there is a problem on on of the rides and you can't use the fast pass at the time listed they don't want to penalize you. For example at ride breaks down.

That I can understand. Although it would still cause a backup, the guest with the FP shouldn't be penalized.

I agree with you sun-n-fun. That is one of my main concernes with FP, when the times are never enforced printed on it.
